Mis en Demeure uses traditional techniques when making their furniture and accessories, in turn keeping alive the unique skill set of the master craftsman.

Mis en Demeure has partnerships with varying specialists including carpenters, upholsterers, painters and plasterers to name a few.

Mis en Demeure favours the application of patinas and reupholstering to be carried out by hand, whether it be on newly produced pieces of a collection or renovating antiques. This process ensures each detail is met.

Gilding is of utmost importance to the finished product, and this technique is undertaken in a workshop in Paris. The glass conservatory roof of the workshop means that it is luminous, with ample natural light making it an ideal place for this detailed process.

Upholstered pieces are manufactured in Europe. Each fabric is worked with care and accuracy to ensure the product is a unique piece that meets the needs of individuals and professionals: measured, cut, studded.

The appeal of handmade products is that the finishes can be customised to your liking. You can choose the fabrics, and your ideal combination can be made by our upholsterers.

The Patinas

The Patinas are applied by hand and allow complete customisation of our wooden furniture.
